Socrate une street artiste posant avec ses oeuvres

Originally from the Parisian suburbs, Socrate is an artist from the graffiti movement. After several years of covering the walls with paint using aerosol cans, she moved from urban support to canvas.

They represent women but also icons expressing their strength, gentleness, and confidence through each of his works. The woman is beautiful and uninhibited and it is the whole force that the artist soaks up and seeks to transmit to us.

Thus, she stages in her works a very contrasting universe: the colorful and wild nature of the graffiti is confronted with the black and white bichromy of the photos.

The use of a resin finish makes it possible to accentuate this contrast through the explosion of its colors and the brilliant movement of this technique.

In the same way, the energy that characterizes urban art and its colored backgrounds animates his frozen and temporal photographs thus creating a movement and the strength of his art.
